چکیده

Heavy metal pollution is a major problem in the environment. The impact of toxic ions can be minimized by different technologies. But among them, adsorption was found to very efficient and common due low concentration uptake economically feasible properties. Cotton fabrics are cost widely used, promising for future. These available abundant quantity, cheap have or little economic value. Waste cotton (WCF) used detoxifications water waste as absorbent sorption Ca (II)and Mg (II) from aqueous solution. . were characterized before after process. fabric has been two directions removal heavy metals dyeing .The results maximum capacity 42 mg g−1 35 at optimal pH (11). behavior WCF (WCF-Ca (ll)) with reactive yellow145 (RY 145 ) studied build up dye, measured exhaustion percentage (E%) ( K/S ). overall fastness properties light, perspiration, washing colored samples ranging good excellent. this study shows significant benefit eco–friend cost-efficiency potential river pollutions comparing traditional adsorbents.

Removal of Heavy Metals from Aqueous Solution by Mordenite Nanocrystals

This study examined the ability of the synthetic mordenite nanocrystal to remove Tl(III) and As(III) from an aqueous solution. The determination of the concentration changes of H+ and OH- quantities in the acidic (pH 3) and alkali (pH 9) treated mordenite nanocrystals were done by the potentiometric titration curves. The maximum uptake capacities (Qmax) of these metal ions using the mordenite i...

Removal of heavy metals from aqueous solution by sawdust adsorption.

The adsorption of lead, cadmium and nicel from aqueous solution by sawdust of walnut was investigated. The effect of contact time, initial metal ion concentration and temperature on metal ions removal has been studied. The equilibrium time was found to be of the order of 60 min. Kinetics fit pseudo first-order, second-order and intraparticle diffusion models, hence adsorption rate constants wer...

Preparation of magnetic chitosan/Fe-Zr nanoparticles for the removal of heavy metals from aqueous solution

Copper and hexavalent chromium are heavy metals that are harmful to human health. Natural adsorbent chitosan, due to its considerable properties such as the presence of functional groups of –NH2 and -OH, non-toxicity, low cost, and biocompatibility, has gained much attention in pollutant removal. Therefore, in the present study, adsorption of chromium (VI) and copper (II) ions was conducted in ...
